The post-COVID-19 rehabilitation program at Sheltering Arms Institute supports COVID-19 survivors across a broad range of short- and long-term symptoms, including body aches, brain fog, decreased energy, difficulty performing daily tasks, decreased balance, difficulty focusing or worsening memory, dizziness, fatigue, muscle weakness, new difficulty swallowing, and shortness of breath.
Physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services are accessible throughout Sheltering Arms Institute’s network of outpatient clinics in Richmond and Central Virginia.
Individualized care plans
COVID-19 impacts everyone differently. Our transdisciplinary teams conduct comprehensive post-COVID-19 evaluations to inform individual care plans, goals, and recommended strategies including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies.
Every patient with post-COVID syndrome demonstrates unique symptoms and our treatments are always individually driven.

Sheltering Arms Institute offers virtual post-COVID-19 treatment on an outpatient basis. All insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, cover telehealth services.
