Our Technology

Technology Unlike Any Other in the Nation

Sheltering Arms Institute utilizes the most advanced rehab technology available anywhere in the country to provide groundbreaking physical rehab. We invest in the latest models and carefully select each piece that goes into our hospital and outpatient centers. Care team members undergo extensive training to learn how to use each device efficiently and safely to help enhance and track patient outcomes.

In our inpatient rehabilitation facility, the 9,251 square foot main therapy gym and three satellite gyms are equipped with everything from the Motek RYSEN, a 360-degree overground assistive walking device for gait training, and the Neofect Smart Glove, a device that helps people regain fine motor skills, to a robotics area, virtual reality, and more. Technology is integrated throughout the entire hospital, including the Bioness Vector Elite, a track-based, bodyweight support system located on each unit outside of patient rooms to practice rehabilitation techniques outside of the gym.

Our outpatient centers house much of the same advanced technology that is utilized in our hospital. This provides the opportunity to continue using many of the same devices as you progress in your recovery to achieve the best outcome.
