Financial Assistance & Fees

Patients come to Sheltering Arms Institute looking for hope and healing, often following very difficult life events that are trying physically, emotionally and financially. It is because of the generosity of our community that all of our patients are able to get help when they need it. Donations also allow us to acquire the tools and technology to help people recover abilities and conquer challenges once thought impossible.

Sheltering Arms Institute provides medical treatment to patients without restriction to race, gender, national origin, age, residence or financial status. Individuals who lack financial resources or who have exhausted their health insurance benefits may be eligible for assistance.

Financial Assistance Program Details and Requirements

If your gross annual income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level, you may qualify for charity care or reduced-cost care. Reduced-cost care means that you may only have to pay a part of your bill, depending upon your income. These criteria are applied in a fair and consistent manner to all patients who need assistance.
