Rajbir Chaggar, MD SCI/Complex Care Unit. Dr. Rajbir Chaggar is an assistant professor of spinal cord injury medicine in the VCU Health Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He splits his time providing consultation for individuals with new spinal cord injuries and disorders in acute care hospitals, providing medical care during inpatient rehab for patients with spinal cord injuries, and following those with spinal cord injuries long term in the outpatient setting. Dr. Chaggar has a strong interest not only in clinical care but also looking at ways to improve the lives of those with spinal cord injuries and disorders through community engagement and research initiatives emphasizing patient-focused outcomes.
