The HydroWorx 750 series is a modular aquatic therapy pool designed for rehabilitation and fitness. Measuring 8 feet by 14 feet long, it includes features such as an underwater treadmill, resistance therapy jets, and a 7-foot deep well area for floating.
The HydroWorx 750 series pool utilizes the properties of water—buoyancy, resistance, and hydrostatic pressure—to facilitate low-impact exercise and rehabilitation. Its many features work together to reduce stress on joints, enhance mobility, and accelerate recovery. It is also equipped with underwater cameras for monitoring and visual feedback.
The HydroWorx 750 is designed to support a wide range of diagnoses and patient populations, including, but not limited to: orthopedic conditions such as degenerative joint disease; neurological disorders like Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy; sports-related injuries; inflammatory conditions; and bariatric or geriatric individuals. Aquatic therapy in the HydroWorx pool can ultimately aid in improving balance, strength, and overall mobility for these populations.
Sheltering Arms Institute houses the HydroWorx 750 Series pool technology at our Reynolds outpatient center.
