Carter Leake

PT, DPT, EP-C

Carter Leake, PT, DPT, EP-C, is a physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Reynolds Outpatient Center. She is a Richmond native and chose to pursue the physical therapy profession after breaking her ankle playing basketball, which required physical therapy. She experienced first-hand the benefits of physical therapy in improving overall function and is passionate about helping others achieve their highest potential. Carter enjoys working with patients with both orthopedic and neurological conditions. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Longwood University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg. In addition, she is a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Outside work, Carter enjoys going on walks, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at the river.
