Christina Smith, PT, DPT, NCS, is the manager of therapy services at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Bon Air and Short Pump Outpatient Centers. She is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist and is an expert in treating patients with neurological disorders, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson’s disease. Christina is a certified Indego Exoskeleton provider, is an active member of the Parkinson’s disease team, and participates in a mentorship program for new graduates within the organization.
Christina is an alumna of Liberty University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology-exercise science. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, and running with her husband.
