Leah Forester

MA, CCC-SLP

Leah Forester, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Bon Air outpatient center. She has experience providing evaluation and treatment for adults with neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. Leah has a special interest in aphasia and cognitive-communication disorders. She utilizes evidence-based interventions to promote meaningful, functional communication outcomes and support individuals in achieving their highest level of participation and independence. Leah earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2024 and a Master of Higher Education in Student Affairs Administration in 2020, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Outside of work, she enjoys Disney, spending time with her dog, discovering new coloring techniques, and playing video games.
