Marilyn Hekrdle, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Chester outpatient center. Marilyn enjoys helping patients of all kinds and brings a high level of energy and personality to everyone she serves. She is experienced in outpatient therapy and passionate about promoting general wellness. She believes a good treatment approach is patient-centered, which starts by taking note of each patient’s specific goals. She loves to educate and empower her patients and aims to make measurable and positive differences.

Marilyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in cellular, molecular, and physiological biology at Christopher Newport University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Marilyn enjoys going to the gym, reading, spending time outside, and exploring surrounding areas to sight-see and discover new restaurants.
