Steve Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, is a physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Midtown outpatient center. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami in 2015 and is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Steve applies science-driven, evidence-informed practices to help patients restore function, build capacity, and return to their highest level of performance. As an avid rock climber, Steve has a special interest in sport-specific training and rehabilitation for patients of all ages. In his free time, he provides training and injury-risk reduction consulting for local competitive and recreational climbers.
