Summer Dudley

MEd, CF-SLP

Summer Dudley, MEd, CF-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Laburnum, Midtown, and Reynolds outpatient centers. Currently completing her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Summer has a passion for the evaluation and treatment of neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. She is also interested in the traumatic brain injury population and hopes to advance her clinical skills in this area by becoming a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS).

Summer graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with honors, earning her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She recently obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Virginia in May 2024. Outside of speech-language pathology, Summer loves to spend time with her family, friends, boyfriend, and her chocolate lab, Blaze. Summer is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen and loves going to concerts. She hopes to adopt a kitten in the future as she has a soft spot for cats.
