Tamika Batten

PT, DPT, AIB-VR

Tamika Batten, PT, DPT, AIB-VR is a staff therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Laburnum outpatient center. Originally, from Portsmouth, VA Tamika earned both a Bachelor of Science (2002) in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2005) from Shenandoah University.

Tamika has a special interest in working with the geriatric and orthopedic patient populations and recently received her vestibular rehabilitation certification from the American Institute of Balance.

In her spare time, Tamika enjoys taking mini getaways with her spouse and son and traveling with friends.
