INPATIENT EXPERIENCE

Therapeutic expertise, compassionate care

Understanding that Guillain-Barré syndrome impacts patients in different ways and that therapy responses are also unique, the team at Sheltering Arms Institute creates customized care plans with individualized goals.

Your own space

Spacious, all-private rooms featuring Stryker beds, en-suite bathrooms, grab bars, lifts, lay-flat furniture for guests, and large picture windows with views of nature give patients the confidence and foundation they need to recover.

A “safety first” approach

Sheltering Arms Institute’s patients with limb loss begin their inpatient rehabilitation shortly after surgery, receiving steadfast medical oversight, wound care, peer visitor services, prosthetist consultation, and advanced technology such as bodyweight support devices and virtual reality treadmills.
