Sheltering Arms Institute offers a warm, welcoming, and state-of-the-art inpatient stroke rehabilitation unit backed by a team of expert and compassionate clinicians, advanced technology, and a total focus on optimal outcomes.
Thirty spacious, all-private rooms feature Stryker beds, en-suite bathrooms, grab bars, lifts, lay-flat furniture for guests, and large picture windows with nature views to provide stroke survivors the confidence and foundation they need to recover.
Our 10,000-square-foot main therapy gym includes equipment such as bodyweight support, robotics, and functional electrical stimulation to help stroke survivors maximize their recovery. We continuously explore new tools and technology to add to our gym to help advance rehabilitation.
Patients’ care teams include physicians, nurses, care managers, and medical psychologists as well as physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapists. This dedicated team works together daily and is fully committed to each person’s recovery.
Sheltering Arms Institute’s stroke-specific team of neurological and clinical specialists are personable, empathetic, and leaders in their fields.
