The duration of walking therapy varies and is determined by a consultation with a locomotor specialist. Walking therapy sessions typically last until the patient graduates from inpatient physical rehabilitation.

Patients participate in walking therapy on a daily basis while admitted to inpatient physical rehabilitation.
