Sheltering Arms to Sponsor High School Coaches Clinic Hosted by the Washington Redskins

On July 31, 2013, Sheltering Arms will sponsor a forum hosted by the Washington Redskins, in conjunction with USA Football, the NFL and other leaders in the sports medicine industry, to discuss concussion awareness and education as it aligns with the “Heads Up Football” program.

Concussion awareness and education is an important issue, one that has gained a great deal of attention and brought to light the need for increased education at all levels of the game. This forum will provide the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, including Sheltering Arms physician Timothy M. Silver, M.D., as well as participate in a question and answer session. Following the forum, all coaches will join the team for a 2013 Washington Redskins training camp practice to see theory put into practice and hear from Redskins Head Coach, Mike Shanahan.
