Leah Johnson

PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN

Leah Johnson, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN, is a physical therapist at Sheltering Arms Institute’s Laburnum outpatient center. She is passionate about implementing evidenced-based care integrated with manual therapy techniques including joint mobilizations, reciprocal inhibition techniques (METs) and soft tissue work. Leah has been a certified yoga teacher for nearly a decade and utilizes her background to refine treatment flows and empower her patients to take their treatments home with them.

Leah is an alumnus of the University of Northern Iowa and received her DPT at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Leah is bilingual in Spanish and English, having lived abroad in Spain and Costa Rica extensively. She loves yoga, running, and making her daughter laugh as often as possible.
