Sally Miller, PTA, serves as Sheltering Arms Institute’s care navigator, ensuring patients achieve their health goals with confidence and consistency. Sally graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University and went on to earn her degree as a PTA from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC). She grew up an athlete and developed a passion for athletic training and physical therapy when she saw the difference it made for her and her teammates in their recoveries from injuries. Through her professional experience in orthopedics as well as working closely with the geriatric population, Sally has learned that recovery and successful outcomes are linked to patient motivation and enthusiasm around home exercise programs.
