Spinal cord injury rehabilitation designed for you
For people living with spinal cord injury, outpatient therapy often follows the inpatient experience to continue the rehabilitative journey. Our network of outpatient centers in the greater Richmond area offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in order to optimize individual recovery.
Sheltering Arms Institute offers outpatient therapy for spinal cord injury at our Bon Air, Hanover, and Short Pump locations.

Within a week, I was feeling my legs and moving them, moving my arms, speaking, breathing without a ventilator, and mobile in a power chair. It was just really nice to have all of that in such a short time and so close to home.
