• MyLife Assistive Technology Educational Series: QuadJoy

    This education series explores how assistive technology empowers individuals to control their surroundings, enhancing independence and quality of life. This series will cover devices, troubleshooting, introduction to user training and funding options to ensure effective use of the highlighted device.

    This session will introduce participants to the QuadJoy, a mouth-operated joystick designed for individuals with limited mobility to control computers and other devices with precision and ease. Attendants will learn about the device’s features, setup, application in independent living and funding options. The session will include a hands-on opportunity to trial the QuadJoy, allowing participants to experience its functionality firsthand.

    Participants will be introduced to Guided Hands, a device designed to support individuals with limited hand mobility in performing tasks such as writing, drawing and using touchscreens. The session will include a hands-on opportunity to trial Guided Hands, allowing participants to experience its functionality and adaptability firsthand.
