The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model Systems Leadership Forum provides an opportunity for the exchange of clinical, programmatic, administrative, regulatory, health care reform, payer, equipment/ technology, education, outcome, and research information related to brain injury rehabilitation. The Forum seeks to enhance TBI rehabilitation services and promote best practices and efficiency/standardization of care on a national level through participation of leadership representatives from member centers serving in a managerial, program development, or other clinically focused administrative roles.

This event will bring together former patients, caregivers, care team members, and community partners to celebrate accomplishments and provide an opportunity for patients to connect with other stroke survivors and reunite with members of their care team.

It will discuss ways to increase intensity and frequency of rehabilitation through outpatient physical therapy and fitness and wellness services. It will help you understand and navigate through fitness and wellness services to discover which program will provide you the most appropriate benefits to help achieve therapy and personal goals following therapy graduation. Lastly, this presentation will highlight if and when it is appropriate to return to physical therapy.
